Eric B. & Rakim was a highly influential hip-hop duo consisting of DJ Eric B. (born Eric Barrier) and rapper Rakim (born William Michael Griffin Jr.). They emerged in the late 1980s and are widely regarded as one of the greatest and most innovative duos in the history of hip hop.
